Systematic music theory and solfege course for those who want to read scores, compose, or prepare for Arts High School or Conservatory admission. Notation, rhythm, intervals, scales, chords, melodic dictations, and spoken/sung solfege.
From basic notation and rhythm, step by step to harmony and musical forms. The program takes you from zero to advanced.
First-sight reading, melodic and rhythmic dictations, accurate intonation — essential skills for any musician.
Specific curriculum with simulated exams for admission to Arts High School, Conservatory, Faculty of Music or Theology.
Many students combine theory with an instrument course — learning both in parallel hugely accelerates progress.
Not mandatory. Many students start with pure theory to understand music, then add an instrument. We do recommend the combination.
The basic program (notation, intervals, scales, chords, rhythm) takes 1-2 years of weekly lessons, depending on your pace.
Yes. Spoken and sung solfege are integral parts of the curriculum — you will develop melodic hearing and first-sight reading.
