SCANDINAVIA Music School is a private music school in Iași, Romania, founded by tenor Gabriel Bîrjovanu, who sang for more than two decades at Den Norske Opera & Ballett in Oslo after starting his career on the stage of the Romanian National Opera in Iași. The school is in the Newton Residence complex in the Tătărași district (78A Vasile Lupu Street) and has its own parking. It offers individual 50-minute lessons in singing, piano, guitar, music theory and solfège for children from age 5, teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced students, including preparation for admission to music high schools and universities. The team has 11 teachers: artists active on national and international stages and young musicians from the „George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași. The first 30-minute meeting is free. A single lesson costs 110 lei; with a subscription the price drops to 100 lei (4 lessons) or 90 lei (10 lessons). The school is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.

Our school is located in the Newton Residential Complex, in the Tatarasi neighborhood, in a quiet, easily accessible area, with private parking and an elegant, welcoming atmosphere. The classrooms are soundproofed, equipped with high-quality instruments and professional audio-video and lighting equipment, suitable for recordings, rehearsals, and internal auditions.

We also have a small performance hall, with a cozy stage, designed for recitals, artistic productions, and filming, giving students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the stage and the real experience of a recital.
