About the Concert
The Christmas Concert in Huși promises to be a memorable musical experience, bringing together exceptional talents on the same stage. About the Artists
Gabriel Bîrjovanu is an internationally renowned tenor, graduate of "George Enescu" National University of Arts Iași. He worked at the Romanian National Opera in Iași from 1991-2002, then at the Norwegian National Opera (Den Norske Opera & Ballett) in Oslo for 20 years (2003-2023). He participated in 47 concerts in Germany with "The 12 Tenors" and has performed on numerous international stages. In 2023 he returned to Romania and founded SCANDINAVIA Music School in Iași.
Ana Maria Donose is a young soprano (born 1985) at the Romanian National Opera in Iași. She is the cousin of famous mezzo-soprano Ruxandra Donose and the niece of a tenor who sang at the Iași Opera. She has performed important roles such as Hanna Glavary in "The Merry Widow", Violetta in "La Traviata" and Mimi in "La Bohème". She is a voice teacher at SCANDINAVIA Music School.
Bolero Orchestra is an ensemble that has performed shows at the Cinema Dacia Performance Hall in Huși, providing elegant orchestral accompaniment for cultural events in the region.
